Saturday afternoon Damon took the kids outside to play in the snow. Trey ran off to play with his friends and Bailee stuck around with her daddy. They ate snow, had a snowball fight, and wrestled. I love seeing Damon play with the kids. I know moments like these will be all-too-soon long gone. Times when the kids are young enough to want to hang with mom and dad and old enough to be able to keep up. Just a snapshot in our lives, really. I don't want this time to go away.
After it got too dark, the (3) kids came in and had hot chocolate and warmed up by the fire. I must say, it was nice enjoying the snow through the window and taking pics. I'm grateful that Heavenly Father gives me so many reminders how greatly I've been blessed.

Halloween
Yesterday we had an awesome Halloween. It was so fun having Damon home all day. We began the day sleeping in late of course, running some errands, then watching Halloween shows with the kids. We went trick-or-treating down main street, around the neighborhood, trunk-or-treating at the church, then finished the day off with dinner at Damon's parents house and of course, a little more trick-or-treating. Bailee was Dorothy and Trey was Mike from Monster's Inc. I know Halloween is a pretty twisted and morbid holiday, but seriously, it's one of my favorites since having kids.
A week ago I went to a Halloween party at my friends house. Damon chose to stay home and watch the kids and the BYU/TCU game. (Good call.) He totally missed out cause we had a blast. There was a huge turnout and the costumes were hilarious. I dressed up as a punk rocker. :) Sorry, the pics are dark cause of the bad lighting.

Pretty girl! She was so excited to wear the Dorothy wig.
Trey was sad when the night was over and he couldn't be Mike anymore. The candy goes in Mike's mouth. How cute is that? Bailee wore this costume too when she was Trey's age.
Trey ran into a couple friends on main street....and apparently so did Damon.
Ah yes...a counter covered in teeth decay and stomachaches. Right on.

Bailee had a little too much fun with my costume.
Joe Dirt and Jessica Simpson?...and some cops.
Cari and Bill...Bill apparently got a day off from the slammer.
A new technique to tiger hunting. Go get em, Ben!
The winners to the costume contest. The only man I know who would put on pink eyelashes and lipstick and dress up like a mama kangaroo. What a good sport!
Ummmmm...
80's prom.
Grease. What a cute couple!
My fellow rockers!
He's back!
Thanks, Ben and Jess for the party!
