After being bitterly disappointed by the weather over spring break, we decided to spend the weekend at a resort at Park City. We've had cabin fever sooooooooooo bad and just wanted to get away. When we got there the power went out in the whole city and we couldn't check in for a few hours. We had to hawl our stuff around which made it very difficult to do anything. We ended up going swimming in a pool that couldn't be heated and even worse, the hot tub couldn't be used. I had to change into a swimming suit in a very tiny bathroom stall with a giant duffel bag hanging on the door. Never fun. Then Trey decided he didn't like his swim diaper and screamed for a good 10 minutes while running around the bathroom naked before he finally let me put it on him. All this effort and all I did was shiver and tried not to freeze to death. Luckily, by 6:30 the power came back on and we ended up having alot of fun. (Once my body temperature returned to normal that is.) My kids had a blast the whole time though. How can kids have such good attitudes? I can always learn something from them.
The morning we left, Damon left to give blood. We were all ready and waiting forever before he got home. The kids were so excited but wore themselves out by the time we actually left.
Pretty girl.
