For Memorial Day we mostly just enjoyed having Damon home for a day. We took the kids to the park for a picnic then spent the rest of the day with friends, playing in the water, and then had a barbecue. Perfect spring day!

The End of 1st Grade
Bailee was devastated that school was ending. She was crying so hard as she walked out of the building that I had to carry her out. She adored her teacher, Mrs. Christensen. I was also so impressed with her and pray that Bailee is blessed with other people throughout her life that are as good of an influence as Mrs. Christensen has been.
I invited some friends and their kids over for a water fest and snack potluck after the last day of school let out. We had a HUGE turnout. By mid-afternoon we had about 50 kids! The weather was perfect and the company was a blast. It was fun hanging out with my friends and celebrating the start of summer break.
Bailee with Kestlie, and Lucy. A couple of Bailee's good friends.
The 1st graders did a Batman dance for the dance festival. I saw her for a split second running in but didn't see her again during the dance. Can't imagine why.

Some kids got a little thirsty. I had irrigation water running for the water slide but I couldn't stop them until I snapped a picture. Hopefully no one got sick.
