Easter

Damon and I were gone on vacation for Easter so we celebrated Easter Sunday as a family after we got back. The Easter Bunny left out new Sunday outfits for the kids while we were away. Here they are showing them off to us before church.

I'm so grateful to our Savior for the atonement. I love Easter and the overwhelming Spirit I feel as I think of the sacrifice He made. Unbelievably, we are able to put our burdens at His feet because of His suffering. I hope I can prove to Him my gratitude!

Before we left, the Easter Bunny made a stop at Damon's parents house.

Skate Park

The skate park at Damon's work was about to be shut down so we spent a family night enjoying a few last rides. We've loved using this skate park and our kids were pretty sad about it closing. At least we got to have one last hoorah!

Itty Bitty Basketball

We signed Trey man up for basketball for the first time. He was in heaven...as long as he could occasionally tackle someone, take the ball from everyone else, and of course swing on the volleyball net. Maybe next year we'll work on playing by the rules.
What a cool dude!

Trey Turns 3 (How Dare He!)

Trey decided to grow up a little more, much to my disappointment. I would be content to have my kids stay babies forever. To celebrate the big day we had his first friend party. He chose a sports theme so we took advantage of our game area in the basement and let the boys go to town. As usual, Trey chose Chucky Cheese for dinner. We ended the celebrating that weekend with a little party with the cousins.

Happy birthday, little buddy! We love you!
