Taryn's Wedding

My gorgeous cousin, Taryn, got married a couple weeks ago. My sister, Mari, and I drove down to St. George with our girls to attend the wedding and enjoy a few days in the beautiful sunny weather. The girls needed a little space from each other by the end of the trip and Mari and I were going crazy with their fighting, but other than that we had a lot of fun. My grandparents have a home there that they only use during the winter months, so we stayed there and were very grateful to have a nice place to stay without having to pay for a hotel. This post has like a trillion pictures, but if you were there you should enjoy checking them out.

My Bailee is growing up so fast and I eat up the time I get to spend with her. We had so much fun together! She looked so pretty at the wedding. Taryn lost her mom in a car accident 3 years ago. I'm sure she was looking down on Taryn and beaming with pride. Taryn looked stunning and SO happy. I couldn't help but think about the day my baby girl will take her sweetie to the temple and how happy I'll be for her. We love you Taryn and couldn't be more excited for you!

We spent some time at the park, the pool, and of course had to stop at the cheese factory for treats for the long drive.
Mari wasn't too happy that I took her pic if you couldn't tell. She may not be talking to me once she sees I posted it. lol
Cat walk?
Funny story. When we were almost to St. George I jokingly told the girls, "we only have 1 1/2 hours until we're in Vegas. Do you want to go to St. George or do you just want to go to Vegas?" Bailee and Halle screamed, "VEGAS! YAY, VEGAS!" Didn't quite expect that response. They were pretty bummed when I told them I was just joking.

Grandpa Retires

My dad just retired, so a bunch of us family members went to his very last concert. Congrats, dad!

Easter Photo Attempt

THE WINNING PHOTOS

I didn't put pics of the kids in their new Easter Sunday clothes on the Easter post because it was oh so frustrating to take any pics of them looking somewhat normal. I don't know if it was the excitement of the day, all the sugar, or just them being annoyed that they were getting their picture taken. However...they looked so cute! Instead of being totally annoyed I couldn't help but enjoy the humor of how the pics turned out. I hope you enjoy it too!

Btw, Damon wasn't too hip on the cropped pants I bought for Trey. Whatever, babe! They're oh so cute on the Cali surfer dude wannabe!

Sure love those little stinkers!

Sunday at the Temple

A couple weeks ago we had a beautiful warm Sunday afternoon. We decided to take the kids to the Mt. Timpanogas temple to walk around the grounds. We had so much fun and it was so peaceful. Bailee asked question after question. I loved seeing reactions the kids had to even the littlest of details. The angel Moroni...the windows...the gardens.

Damon took me through this temple 2 days before we were married...9 1/2 years ago. "I love to see the temple. I'm going there some day...."
Damon's mom works at the temple grounds once a week. Bailee asked me over and over again, "Did grandma plant this flower? Did grandma plant this flower?"
